Weird Thinking
December 29, 2004You ever have a totally out of place thought during a serious moment?
I was watching the coverage of the Tsumani and seeing all that death and destruction…all those people floating in the water, some alive, most dead.
And before the enormity of the incident hit me, the first thought I had was…
“God, I need to learn how to swim.”
I’m going to hell, aren’t I?
Rest assured you’ll not be alone.
I can safely say I’m one of those ‘weird thinking’ people.
E.g: When I bought my cool shoes, for days after I kept thinking how I could save them if my house caught fire or some emergency situation came up.
