I’m black and I love Michel Gondry.
I just thought I’d get that out of the way.
Anyway, I loved this movie. It was really funny and sweet. A tribute to the love of filmmaking and the power of community.
Mos Def and Danny Glover were good and Jack Black wasn’t too annoying (which is all you can ask from him at this stage of his career). The real stand out was Melonie Diaz.
