If I hadn’t seen the Swedish original, Let The Right One In, and hadn’t been in love with it, I might have found this film near perfect.
But, alas, I did see Let The Right One In and I am in love with it so Let Me In, while great, fails only when compared to the original.
Looking back on my list for the summer, I only saw six of the movies. Either movies are getting worse or I’m getting less interested in going to the movie theater. Between the increasing costs and the 3D boom/nightmare, It takes a lot to get me out to the movies. Hopefully, the Fall will fare better than the Summer.

It looks like a shot-for-shot remake of the 2008 Swedish film, Let the Right One In, one of the best vampire-related movies in the last decade in my opinion.
Normally I would hate but I love the casting of Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Road) and Chloë Moretz (Hit Girl from Kick Ass).
