Don’t Call Me During…: Midseason 2010 Edition

This is going to be a mess. With a bunch of shows doing delayed returns (not coming back until March/April), it’s hard to discern what I’m going to be able to watch live and what I’ll be watching via the internet.  So I’m just going to list them all with their return date. Just know that some how, some way I will try to watch all these shows.

Sunday:

8:00 – 8:30 PM: The Simpsons (1/3): What will it take for me to stop watching this show.
8:00 – 9:00 PM: The Pacific (3/14): I own Band of Brothers and still haven’t watched it.  That’s a damn shame
9:00 – 9:30 PM: Family Guy (1/3)
9:30 – 10:00 PM: Sons of Tuscon (3/14): The only reason I’m giving this a chance is because it stars Tyler Labine, the main reason I watched Reaper
9:00 – 10:00 PM: Big Love (1/10)
10:00-11:00 PM: Breaking Bad (3/21)

Monday:

8:00 – 8:30 PM: How I Met Your Mother (1/11)
8:00 – 9:00 PM: Life Unexpected (1/11): It’s supposed to be good
8:00 – 9:00 PM: House (1/11)
8:00 – 9:00 PM: Chuck (1/10 premiere, regularly airs on Monday)
9:00 – 10:00 PM: Gossip Girl (3/8)
9:00 – 10:00 PM: 24 (1/17 premiere, regularly airs on Monday)
9:00 – 10:00 PM: Parenthood (3/1): It sucks that Maura Tierney had to drop out but Lauren Graham as a replacement is great
9:30 – 10:00 PM: The Big Bang Theory (1/11)
10:00 – 11:00 PM: Castle (1/11)
10:00 – 11:00 PM: Damages (1/25)
10:00 – 11:00 PM: Greek (1/25)

Tuesday

8:00 – 8:30 PM: Scrubs: The show works better without J.D.
8:00 – 9:00 PM: 90210 (3/9)
8:30 – 9:00 PM: Better Off Ted
9:00 – 10:00 PM: Lost (2/2): Sniff
9:00 – 10:00 PM: Glee (4/13)
10:00 – 11:00 PM: V (3/30)

Wednesday

9:00 – 9:30 PM: Modern Family (1/6)
9:00 – 10:00 PM: Human Target (premieres 1/17, regularly airs on Wednesdays): Even though they ruined the premise of the comic book it is based on, I’ll give ay show starring Mark Valley a chance
9:30 – 10:00 PM: Cougar Town (1/6)
10:00 – 11:00 PM: Ugly Betty (1/6)
10:00 – 11:00 PM: Nip/Tuck (1/6)
10:00 – 11:00 PM: Psych (1/27)

Thursday

8:00 – 8:30 PM: Community (1/14)
8:00 – 9:00 PM: Bones (1/14)

8:30 – 9:00 PM: Parks and Recreation (1/14)
9:00 – 10:00 PM: Fringe (1/14)
9:00 – 9:30 PM: The Office (1/21)
9:30 – 10:00 PM: 30 Rock (1/14)
10:00 – 11:00 PM: Burn Notice (1/21)
10:00 – 11:00 PM: The Mentalist (1/14)
10:00 – 11:00 PM: Jersey Shore
10:00 – 10:30 PM: Archer (1/14): By the maker of Frisky Dingo, one of my favorite Adult Swim shows ever.

Friday

9:00 – 10:00 PM: Dollhouse (1/8 – 1/22)
9:00 – 10:00 PM: Caprica (1/22): I still haven’t watched the pilot that’s been out of months
10:00 – 10:30 PM: The Ricky Gervais Show (2/19): I wonder if watching a podcast is as funny as listening to it

Saturday

11:30 PM – 1:00 AM: Saturday Night Live

TBD
Justified (March): Stars Timothy Olyphant. The end.

Download
Being Human (BBC) (1/10)
Skins (BBC) (1/28)
Nurse Jackie (SHO) (3/22)
Friday Night Lights (DIRECTV) (1/6)

  1. Ugh, now picture trying to fit American Idol (plus other reality faves) into this viewing schedule. Also, where is Jersey Shore?
