I take a lot of photos of Xavi. A lot. Too many. I thought I’d spend the next eleven days before Xavi turns three sharing my favorite photo for each month of his not-so-terrible Two’s.
Like with Easter, I try to get a Mother’s Day photo every year. I’m sure this drives Cindy crazy. This was also going to be the last Mother’s Day photo with just Xavi (on the outside).
Cindy had to go to a dinner that night for work so she got dressed up. I popped Xavi into one of the Easter outfits my mother bought him (even you really can’t tell). Cindy was running late so we took a few photos outside our apartment and then we all went to Cornell with Cindy on the bus because Xavi likes riding the bus.
On the way back from Cornell, Xavi fell asleep despite my best efforts to keep him awake and I had to carry him back home about four and a half blocks. By the time I got home, I was covered in sweat and sore.
At least I got a decent Mother’s Day photo out of it.
